Overview
As a fan, your dashboard is built around discovering artists, following them for free, and optionally paying for memberships and perks. Use the sidebar as your map:
- Discover — Your home after sign-in. The main nav has Discover, Charts, Library (/discover/library), and Subscribed Artists — browse all four without signing in, or sign in to see your personal content. Account menu links to Settings and sign-out.
- Fan dashboard — Paid subscriptions, streaming releases, subscriber exclusives, and artist updates.
- For fans — Public search for published artist profiles; sign in to follow or redeem invites.
- Profile — Avatar, name, bio, and social links on your account.
- Settings — Email, password, two-factor authentication, and connected accounts. Also accessible at /discover/settings from the Discover account menu.
- Support — This guide and FAQs for the fan experience.
Fan vs artist account
When you create an account with email and password, choose whether you are signing up primarily as a fan or an artist. That choice sets your initial role and the first screen you see after login.
- Fan: Your home base is the Fan dashboard. Use For fans to search artists, open public profiles, follow, and redeem invite links.
- Artist: You are set up for release workflows: Upload, Teams, and related tools. You can still follow other artists once you are logged in.
- Changing roles later: Role changes are handled by admins or special flows, not something most users toggle themselves. If you need a correction, contact support.
Fan dashboard
Go to /dashboard/fan. The page opens with a time-based greeting, a search shortcut, and—when you have paid memberships—a Supporting N artists link to Subscribers.
- Before you subscribe: A compact Discover an artist banner, perks overview, and Listen on streaming platforms (recent delivered releases plus earlier catalog on Spotify or Apple Music from public profiles).
- When you support artists: Subscriber exclusives, releases from artists you subscribe, upcoming calendar dates, artist bulletin previews, and the same sitewide streaming discovery row.
- Subscribers: Open /dashboard/fan/subscribers for every active membership or pass—plan name, renewal dates, links to
/artists/..., and Manage billing (Stripe customer portal). - Search musicians: Use the header shortcut or scroll to the search section at the bottom to find artists by stage name, genre, or slug.
- Follow (free): Follow from an artist's public page or a fan invite on For fans. Subscribing automatically follows that artist. There is no separate Following list in the dashboard—use Subscribers for paid support.
- Demo content: Sandbox test releases are hidden from the streaming feed unless you are on a sandbox persona account or an admin using sandbox role-viewer mode.
