7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on the Services. When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to accept all cookies, deny unnecessary cookies, or customize your preferences by category.
A. Cookie Categories
We organize cookies and similar technologies into four categories:
1. Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for the Services to function and cannot be disabled. They include:
- Authentication cookies (login session, two-factor verification)
- Security cookies (CSRF protection, abuse prevention)
- Payment session cookies (Stripe checkout)
- OAuth login cookies (social sign-in)
2. Functional
These cookies remember your preferences and improve your experience. They include:
- Support widget dismiss state
- Support chat history (stored in local storage, expires after 7 days)
- Dashboard performance cache cookies
If you deny functional cookies, the Services will still work, but some convenience features (such as remembering that you dismissed a popup, or caching dashboard data) will not be available.
3. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the Services, including page views and navigation patterns. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you grant analytics consent. No analytics data is collected if you deny this category.
4. Marketing
Marketing cookies are used for promotional features such as our mailing list signup popup. If you deny marketing cookies, promotional popups will not appear and no marketing-related cookies will be set.
B. Managing Your Preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. This will reopen the consent preferences panel where you can update your choices. Your consent preference is stored in a cookie on your device for approximately 12 months. If we update our cookie categories or practices, the consent banner will reappear so you can make a new choice.
You may also adjust cookie settings through your browser. However, blocking all cookies may prevent some Services from functioning properly.
C. Third-Party Technologies
Certain third-party services are loaded only when relevant to your interaction with the Services:
- hCaptcha — loaded when you submit a protected form (abuse prevention; treated as strictly necessary in context)
- Stripe — loaded when you initiate a payment (strictly necessary for checkout)
- OAuth providers — loaded when you use social login (strictly necessary for authentication)
These third-party services may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.
D. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. We honor cookie consent choices made through our in-app consent manager. We do not currently respond to browser-level Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry-standard implementation.

processing timelines
