7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on the Services. When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to accept all cookies, deny unnecessary cookies, or customize your preferences by category.

A. Cookie Categories

We organize cookies and similar technologies into four categories:

1. Strictly Necessary

These cookies are essential for the Services to function and cannot be disabled. They include:

  • Authentication cookies (login session, two-factor verification)
  • Security cookies (CSRF protection, abuse prevention)
  • Payment session cookies (Stripe checkout)
  • OAuth login cookies (social sign-in)

2. Functional

These cookies remember your preferences and improve your experience. They include:

  • Support widget dismiss state
  • Support chat history (stored in local storage, expires after 7 days)
  • Dashboard performance cache cookies

If you deny functional cookies, the Services will still work, but some convenience features (such as remembering that you dismissed a popup, or caching dashboard data) will not be available.

3. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the Services, including page views and navigation patterns. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you grant analytics consent. No analytics data is collected if you deny this category.

4. Marketing

Marketing cookies are used for promotional features such as our mailing list signup popup. If you deny marketing cookies, promotional popups will not appear and no marketing-related cookies will be set.

B. Managing Your Preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. This will reopen the consent preferences panel where you can update your choices. Your consent preference is stored in a cookie on your device for approximately 12 months. If we update our cookie categories or practices, the consent banner will reappear so you can make a new choice.

You may also adjust cookie settings through your browser. However, blocking all cookies may prevent some Services from functioning properly.

C. Third-Party Technologies

Certain third-party services are loaded only when relevant to your interaction with the Services:

  • hCaptcha — loaded when you submit a protected form (abuse prevention; treated as strictly necessary in context)
  • Stripe — loaded when you initiate a payment (strictly necessary for checkout)
  • OAuth providers — loaded when you use social login (strictly necessary for authentication)

These third-party services may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.

D. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. We honor cookie consent choices made through our in-app consent manager. We do not currently respond to browser-level Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry-standard implementation.

8. Payments and Financial Information

Payments may be processed through third party payment providers.

  • We do not directly store full credit card or payment processor details unless necessary for operations
  • Payout information may be stored for royalty and subscription disbursement
  • TimesTwo is not responsible for third party payment processor failures or security incidents beyond our

control

9. Music Distribution and Artist Content

By uploading music, videos, artwork, or other content to the Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Certain metadata, files, payout information, and account details may be shared with distribution partners,

digital service providers, rights administrators, payment processors, and related third parties as necessary to

provide Services

  • Distribution reporting, royalty statements, and analytics may be delayed or impacted by third party

systems outside of TimesTwo’s control

  • Content and associated data may remain stored for operational, reporting, legal, audit, tax, accounting,

archival, or compliance purposes even after takedown requests or account closure

Distribution Metadata and Rights Information

By submitting content for distribution through TimesTwo, you further acknowledge and agree that:

  • You may be required to provide release metadata including artist name, songwriter information, producer

credits, ISRC / UPC data, release dates, ownership splits, and related rights information

related communications for business, legal, tax, audit, accounting, and operational purposes

  • TimesTwo may use distribution performance data, royalty analytics, engagement metrics, and reporting

insights internally to improve platform services, product development, and user experience

Account Closure and Takedowns

  • Account closure does not automatically result in immediate removal of distributed content from digital

service providers

  • Takedown requests remain subject to TimesTwo’s operational procedures and third party partner

processing timelines

  • TimesTwo may retain content, release history, royalty statements, accounting records, and

communications for legal, audit, tax, compliance, and business purposes after account closure

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored, processed, or transferred in the United States or other countries where our

service providers, partners, or vendors operate.

By using the Services, you consent to such transfers and understand that data protection laws in other

jurisdictions may differ.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent.

  • Access to collected personal information
  • Deletion requests
  • Correction requests
  • Information regarding disclosures
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information

TimesTwo does not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.

We may share limited personal information with service providers solely as necessary to operate the Services. These service providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to TimesTwo.

Opt-Out of Non-Essential Tracking

You may opt out of analytics and marketing tracking by selecting "Deny unnecessary cookies" on the cookie consent banner that appears on your first visit, or by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page at any time. When you deny non-essential cookies, we will not load analytics scripts or display marketing popups, and no non-essential cookies will be set on your device. See Section 7 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies) for full details on cookie categories and management.

To exercise your other California privacy rights, contact us using the information below. We will verify your identity before processing your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
