Changelog

Product updates for artists, managers, and fans.

Focus artist socials, branded profile links, and homepage reliability

  • The public homepage is more resilient when the database is slow to connect during page generation — release slides and spotlight artists still load from cache or a safe empty fallback instead of failing the page.
  • Saving your Dashboard → Profile no longer clears website and social links you already set on Focus artist. Empty profile link fields are left alone on the public artist page until you fill them in.
  • Dashboard → Profile and Focus artist social fields use branded handle inputs — enter a handle or full URL; Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and similar fields show a clear platform prefix.
  • Focus artist setup is easier to scan: Linked team user and genre/PRO use branded dropdowns, streaming and fan socials are clearer, and the public-page preview fits narrow columns with a compact hero.

Marketing cookies control optional site analytics

  • Cookie preferences → Marketing now gates optional third-party marketing pixels (Meta). They load only if you allow marketing cookies.
  • Deny unnecessary cookies or turn off Marketing in Customize to skip those pixels while keeping essential site functionality.

Clearer upload paths and required audio files

  • Dashboard → Upload uses pathway cards for all-platform distribution, subscriber-only releases, and moving catalog from another distributor — each with a short explanation before you continue.
  • Single and album upload forms share the same layout; track audio must be uploaded as a file (external audio links are no longer accepted for new or updated tracks).
  • Album cover uploads are capped at 4.5 MB so uploads complete reliably; use a smaller image if you hit the limit.
  • Release pages show richer track cards (completion badges, inline audio preview, and clearer edit actions) when you manage tracks on an album.
  • Delete release is available on the album detail page when you have permission — no need to go through the upload hub.

Copy team invite links when email doesn’t arrive

  • Team Settings → Pending invitations and staff User lookup include Copy invite link so you can send the acceptance URL yourself if the email was missed.

Revenue by month, fee split, and reporting window

  • Workspace → Revenue and team release revenue views include an All time / month selector so you can focus on a specific reporting month.
  • Staff revenue views show an illustrative fee split (partner fee, artist share, TimesTwo share) based on matched report gross and net.
  • Artists and managers see matched revenue only through a month that trails the current calendar month by five months; platform staff still see the latest imported data.

Promo codes at sign-up and checkout

  • Register and Choose your plan now include an optional promo code field with a Check button so you know the code works before you continue.
  • A valid Free Artist Tier unlock code skips payment and starts you on Free Artist Tier; other codes apply at Stripe checkout (for example a first-month discount on Founding Artist).
  • Returning customers who already paid or still have an active subscription cannot reuse signup promo codes.
  • Monthly and yearly billing intervals are validated at checkout so the price matches the interval you selected.

Distribution revenue in the dashboard

  • Dashboard → Workspace → Revenue shows earnings from the TimesTwo revenue report, matched to your catalog tracks by ISRC.
  • Platform staff see sitewide totals; managers see their label roster; artists see their focus-artist workspace. Use the scope selector to narrow to one team when you have access to several.
  • Team and release pages show matched net and gross totals plus per-track earnings when ISRCs align with the report.
  • Revenue views include a EUR / USD display toggle so you can read amounts in either currency.
  • If a team or release has no matched report lines yet, Distribution earnings stays hidden instead of showing an empty placeholder.
  • Earnings by track can switch between cards and a table. Amounts appear in orange pills; staff tables also include gross next to net.
  • On Workspace → Revenue, Earnings by month, by country, and by source break down matched report totals (source and country charts sit side by side).
  • Earnings by source groups related streaming platforms under one company slice; the legend uses TimesTwo orange platform icons.
  • Platform staff can upload TimesTwo or Witease sales CSVs from Revenue upload in the staff nav.

Branded forms and a copy of your answers by email

  • TimesTwo forms at /forms/… use the same branded look as our other applications — clear questions, side-by-side short fields where it helps, and a thank-you after you submit.
  • When a form asks for your email, you’ll get a confirmation message that we received your response, including a copy of the answers you sent.

Browse the dashboard before you pay (upgrade when you act)

  • If you’re on Free Artist Tier, or you’ve started Founding Artist or Managers / Label but haven’t finished payment yet, you can open the full dashboard — including Calendar, Bulletin, and Analytics previews.
  • Actions that need a paid plan (like adding a calendar event or posting to the bulletin) open a short upgrade or complete-payment prompt instead of locking you out of the whole dashboard.
  • Music uploads for Free Artist Tier, and other paid-only tools like team invites and Stripe Connect, still follow the same plan rules as before.

Polished publishing application page

  • Publishing Administration hero is easier to read over the background, with shorter Apply / Learn more buttons and a clearer time estimate (form takes about 5–10 minutes).
  • How it works uses clearer step cards, and a short note that applications are reviewed individually (submitting doesn’t guarantee acceptance).
  • The application form is tighter on larger screens (fields side by side where it helps), field tips open from info (i) buttons next to labels, and guests can still open those tips while the form stays locked until sign-in.
